What an Image is

Access: Signed in An Image is a standalone visual generated from a text prompt. Use it for fast concept exploration, mood boards, references, or any idea that does not need to become a 3D asset first.

Create an Image in Chat

Access: Signed in
  1. Open New chat.
  2. Describe the image you want.
  3. Include an aspect ratio or framing direction when it matters.
  4. Submit the prompt.
Mint generates the image directly. Images do not use the Preview approval flow for Worlds and 3D Models, and you do not need to choose an image model. You can start with a short idea:
A tiny red camper parked beside a moonlit alpine lake, cozy illustrated travel-poster style.
Or give more direction:
Create a cinematic 16:9 concept image of a floating botanical research station above a tropical storm, sunrise breaking through the clouds, realistic materials, wide establishing shot.

Review the result

Access: Signed in When generation finishes, Mint adds an Image card to the chat. Use the selector to pin that Image for your next prompt, the fullscreen control to inspect it in the asset panel, or Edit to select it for a follow-up change. Image cards do not show a World or 3D generation button; ask for those workflows in Chat when you want to reuse the Image as source input.

Edit an Image in Chat

Access: Signed in Continue in the same chat and describe the change you want to make to a finished Image. For example:
Remove the text from this image.
Mint uses the referenced Image as the edit source and creates a new finished Image. The original remains unchanged, so each edit is a separate asset that can be inspected, downloaded, or edited again.

Find Images later

Access: Signed in Open My Assets, then select Images immediately after Audio. The Images tab keeps finished generated images together and lets you reopen an image to inspect it, download it, or manage its visibility.

Use an Image in another creation

Access: Signed in Continue in the same chat and refer to the generated Image when you want to use it as visual input for a World, 3D Model, Asset Pack, Material, or Material Pack. For example:
Generate a world using this image.
Mint resolves the referenced Image and continues through the normal image-backed workflow for the requested asset type.

Current Image limits

Access: Signed in Image edits currently use a finished Image generated earlier in the same chat. Arbitrary uploaded-image editing, masks, and variation controls are not yet part of this flow. A finished Image can also be reused as visual input for the supported World, 3D Model, Asset Pack, Material, and Material Pack workflows. If Mint shows a Credits, quota, or plan message before generation starts, use the current in-product message as the source of truth. Next step: Create with Chat
