FAQ
What is the difference between a World and a 3D Model?
- A World is a place you can walk through.
- A 3D Model is a single object or character you can open, download, and convert into supported file formats.
What is an Asset Pack?
An Asset Pack is a cohesive set of related 3D Models. Use one when you need a set, kit, lineup, roster, clothing line, or prop collection in one shared style. What is a Material?
A Material is a standalone PBR texture asset. Use one when you need a seamless surface or texture-map set, such as concrete, stone, bark, metal, fabric, tile, or leather. Materials include generated maps such as base color, normal, roughness, metalness, and height. They are not 3D Models and do not include mesh geometry. What is Audio?
An Audio asset is a generated playable sound file. Use one when you need sound effects, UI sounds, short ambience, background music, intro music, lore cues, theme music, loops, or ambience beds for a game, app, World, or scene. Audio starts from a text prompt. Mint decides whether your request is a sound effect, short ambience, music, or another general audio request.Do I need to sign in to use Mint?
No for browsing. Yes for creating, saving Favorites, and managing billing. What is a Preview?
A Preview is the image Mint shows before final generation. You can review it, edit it, or cancel before you continue.Where do my creations go?
- Worlds go to your Profile under Worlds.
- 3D Models go to your Profile under 3D Models.
- Materials go to your Profile under Materials.
- Audio assets go to your Profile under Audio.
- Asset Packs with generated items can appear under Asset Pack. Their finished items also appear as 3D Models.
- Failed or cancelled items with a usable Preview go to Previews.
How do I edit an existing World?
Open the World and click Reuse Prompt or Edit World, if shown. Mint sends you back to Chat with the World as the starting point. Can I make something private?
- Worlds can be hidden from your public profile with Hide from profile.
- 3D Models can be switched between Public and Private.
- Materials can be switched between public and private when the visibility action is available.
Can I download my 3D Model, Material, Asset Pack, or Audio?
Yes. Open a finished 3D Model and use Download GLB. For final Asset Pack outputs with downloadable GLBs, use Download ZIP to download the pack as a ZIP. You can still download an individual child model from the focused item. Open a finished Material and use Download to download the generated PBR map set as one ZIP. Open a finished Audio asset and use Download when a downloadable audio file is available. Finished 3D Models can also be converted intoGLB, OBJ, STL, USDZ, and
FBX when conversion is available. In Chat, ask Mint to convert the finished
model and name the formats you need. OBJ and FBX downloads can be ZIP
packages so Mint can include the model file, material sidecars, and texture
images together.
Can I view my 3D Model in AR?
Yes. AR is a viewing capability for finished 3D Models. Generate a 3D Model as usual, then open Mint on a mobile browser, open the finished model from your Profile or the asset panel, and tap AR. Finished Asset Pack items are 3D Models too, so you can open an individual generated item on mobile and tap AR when available. Can I optimize a generated 3D Model?
Yes. Open the chat with a finished generated 3D Model and ask Mint to optimize it. Optimization prepares a smaller GLB for delivery, download, or import. It is not a visual edit, and Mint keeps the original GLB available. Each model optimization costs 20 Credits. For Asset Packs, each generated item you optimize is charged separately. Can I retopologize a generated 3D Model?
Yes. Open the chat with a finished generated 3D Model or Asset Pack and ask Mint to retopologize it, apply smart topology, or make a quad mesh. For Asset Packs, you can retopologize one generated item, selected generated items, or all generated models in the pack. Mint creates new derivative models with quadrilateral topology and keeps the original models unchanged. The retopologized models preserve the source models’ look and thumbnail when possible. Each smart topology operation costs 394 Credits per model. It uses the original finished generated model as its source. For Asset Packs, each generated item retopologized is charged separately. Can I upload reference audio or clone a voice?
Not in the current Chat flow. Audio generation is text-to-audio. Mint does not currently support uploaded reference audio, audio-to-audio editing, voice cloning, or a dedicated lyrics workflow for this capability.Troubleshooting
